Bluecity has redesigned the structure and improved the materials with which it makes the old metal casing. Incorporating stainless steel A304 these new metal casing are manufactured with the sole purpose of providing a longer life – avoiding corrosion – and taking into account the snow of countries as Canada or Switzerland or the salinity of coastal places. These metal casing have the same dimensions and are suitable for the usual Blendtec bollards. We have also incorporated an additional cover; we recommend its placement as a lid, when the bollards are removed from the base. Bluecity has made an effort in the development of these new bases that replace the previous ones, maintaining prices for its customers
Using its own technology, Bluecity manufactures polyurethane bollards with a new formulation reducing prices by 50% compared to the Blendtec range, while maintaining the levels of quality and functionality.
This new range, manufactured from recyclable raw material, will be launched in the market from January 2018.
These bollards are resistant, flexible and come in a wide range of colors. We start this new range with two models – Bike Lane and Barcelona – and we will incorporate new ones according to demand.
They are available in eight colors, with an option to customize the bollard with the city’s logo and to place reflective stripes on the upper part.
The technical tests carried out to check characteristics that allow its installation on the public highway, have certified its effectiveness and behavior on the bike lanes, and on the streets and squares of
the cities.
